“The History of Ideas” is one of those rabbithole fields where you feel like you can never wrap your head around anything, and the more you try, the deeper you fall. But then, Melvyn Bragg, who has two shows in London (In Our Time on BBC’s Radio 4 and The South Bank Show on ITV), makes it seem like a breeze. On both program(me)s, he speaks to leading intellectuals from Oxford men to new media moguls to literary giants (check out this podcast of Melvin and Joany Dids). It is kind of the best job ever. This link leads to his BBC show and podcast. Not that you need another thing to listen to, but I’m never let down by absorbing these.
